Sorry I can't pledge money, but you have my wholehearted support. It seems that this country has gone mad and for the first time in my life I am not proud to be British. When top government officials refer to aninmals as 'commodities' or 'goods' then I am afraid they have 'lost the plot' and we shall all suffer in the end, as what goes around comes around. That is the law of the universe and nature will win when humans refuse to work with what is an enormous powerful energy. Good luck with your efforts.

We are in Petrockstowe. Maff are bulding burial site here in beautiful mid Devon. Capacity for 500,000 cattle sheep and pigs from all over Devon and beyond. We have clay subsoil. We have got hold of geological survey report produced for Maff. Maff only told them to look at 3 sites and choose which was most suitable. For the one they chose they said"Although by no means ideal the most suitable is Ash Moor(ours)....."the land slopes quite steeply, there is some potential for pollution of shallow ground water and surface water via the basalt gravel....the land drains to the little Mere river 500 metres away....several wells and a spring nearby" This site is meant to stay for 10-20 years. We are protesting now. There is a meeting tonight at 7.30 when Maff will be "addressing our concerns to reassure us". The little Mere flows into the Torridge. They are trying to ride roughshod over us as well. Can you give us more details of the construction methods there?

Hi, It's me again, I'm currently on "vacation" in the U.S. and the American population are most definately under the impression that the UK had come to a complete standstill, and I fear these comments may have been early but true for one or two weeks time. I am more or less in the dark about events over the past few days and I may be speaking in "Riddles" but that is my view on things and I think that it is about time that "Carwyn Clown" and his gang at the National Assembly GOT A LIFE!!!! And also I think that politicians these days could take a few lessons from farmers and "NON TOWNY'S" E.T.C.

Dear Hauliers, I don't blame you for taking the opportunity to bring in some extra capital by transporting animal carcaces, and I understand that you probably would rather not do it anyway but you must understand that you are ruining us and you should have realised that the government are slowly irradicating ALL the working industries in the UK and it may be YOU next. If you just think about it, they got rid of Coal, Steel and now Farming what next? You? Timber Companies?
